⚠️ 1-METER BACKPRESSURE REQUIREMENT: To fully compress the internal seal, the reverse water column (backpressure) dropping onto the valve during a power outage MUST be greater than 1 Meter (approx. 3.3 feet or ≥0.01 MPA). If your return pipe is shorter than 1 meter, the water weight will not be heavy enough to push the spring closed, resulting in a slow, continuous leak!
