Smooth Sockets (Requires Glue): PVC waterproof adhesive/cement MUST be used on the two straight-through joints to secure your PVC pipes permanently.

Center Thread (Requires Teflon Tape): You MUST wrap the male fitting with Teflon/PTFE plumber's tape before screwing it into this center female port. Do NOT use PVC glue on the threads!
