Smooth Socket Side (Requires Glue): PVC waterproof adhesive/cement MUST be used on the smooth slip joint to secure your PVC pipe permanently.

Threaded Side (Requires Teflon Tape): You MUST wrap the male fitting with Teflon/PTFE plumber's tape before screwing it into this female port. Do NOT use PVC glue on the threads!
