🚨 TEFLON TAPE REQUIRED (NO GLUE!): Both ends of this valve are female threaded. You MUST wrap your male threads tightly with Teflon/PTFE plumber's tape to prevent leaks. NEVER use industrial PVC cement on these threaded joints!

🚨 DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN: When working with large-diameter plastic female threads, extreme caution must be used. Using heavy pipe wrenches to over-tighten large metal male fittings into this plastic valve will cause the housing to crack! Hand-tighten and use a strap wrench only if strictly necessary.
